It’s hard being away from home for extended periods of time due to a medical situation. Add onto that the COVID crisis, and it can all be a bit overwhelming for your family, and your new home-away-from-home.
When COVID hit, the Ronald McDonald House had to cancel their Cooks for Kids program, which meant no more volunteers coming to cook meals and supply the food. This required staff members to quickly shift gears into becoming full time cooks. With the Holidays fast approaching we not only wanted to bring some joy to the RMH families, but also relief to the hard-working staff.
Along with our partner Amana, we are proud to support the meals program for the Holidays (Thanksgiving thru the New Year) with $25,000!
