Not sure how to start your Lemon-Aid stand?   Here’s a Step-By-Step plan to host the best Lemon-Aid stand ever!

Step 1: Plan your stand!

• Pick a date and location!
• Pick a safe and busy spot in your neighborhood with lots of foot traffic and aim for a warm day!
  Recruit friends or family members to help.
• Neighbors, classmates, your scout troop, or teammates are great people to ask.
• Set your fundraising goal!
• Consider holding a lemonade stand more than once to increase your gift.
• Ask people to pledge money towards every cup you sell.  For example: If your grandparents live in Florida , they could pledge $1 per cup sold.  If you sold 25 cups of lemonade, they would give you an additional $25.
• Brainstorm ways to advertise your stand.

Step 2: Register your stand!

Register your stand with RMHC –UM by filling out the registration form and e-mailing it to lemonaid@rmhtwincities.org or mailing it to:

Step 3: Gather your supplies!

• Purchase or ask for donation for the supplies you’ll need.
• Use this supply list to find out what you’ll need.
• Use this sample donation letter to ask for supply donations.

Step 4: Promote your stand!

• Post signs around your neighborhood.
• Hand out flyers at church, family get-togethers, or sports practice.

Step 5: Get ready for the big day!

• Organize all your supplies for the big day.
• Make a few extra posters to personally decorate your stand.

Step 6: Enjoy your day!

• Have fun!
• Ask your parents to snap some pictures of all the fun you’re having!  We’ll post some of the best pictures on our website!
